රටක ජාතික සමාජ ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන ක්රියාවලියේ දී කාන්තාවන්ගෙන් ලැබෙන දායකත්වය අතිවිශාලය. එනිසාම අප ජාතියක් වශයෙන් තිරසාර සංවර්ධනයක් කරා යොමුවීමට නම් ඇය පෙරටුගාමී හා ගාමක බලවේගයක් වීම අත්යාවශ්යය. දැනුම, කුසලතාවයන් හා යහපත් ආකල්පයන්ගෙන් හෙබි වඩා කාර්යාක්ෂම හා ක්රියාශීලී කාන්තා පරපුරක් සිටින්නේ නම් එය රටට අගනා සම්පතකි. ඒ පිළිබඳව සමාජයේ දැනුවත්භාවය හා සංවේදීතාවය වැඩි දියුණු කරමින් ඉදිරි අනාගතයට උචිත වන පරිදි ඔවුන්ට අවස්ථා සලසා දීම අපගේ ප්රධානම වගකීමකි.
