The National Committee on Women has decided to organize a policy dialogue with Civil Society Organizations to discuss the work conducted during the last three years. The members of the National Committee on Women will be presenting the activities conducted during the period to get the views of the civil society organizations. This will create an opportunity to hear from representatives of women’s rights organizations about their thoughts and ideas on policy priorities and directions. The presentations cover the areasof policy and legal, research, forum discussion,1938 helpline, media, Violence Against Women , political participation, reproductive health and gender mainstreaming. The meeting will be held on the 2ndAugust from 2.00 – 4.00 pm at the Ministry Auditorium.
