The Third Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training Programme was held on 10th October 2026 for 60 officers of the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation and establish an efficient, productive, and innovative working environment within the public service through the effective use of modern technology.

The main objective of this training programme was to further strengthen officers’ knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its growing role in the public sector. The programme also aimed to enhance their practical skills in using AI tools to support official responsibilities, improve administrative processes, and increase workplace efficiency.

The session focused on the fundamental principles of Artificial Intelligence, recent technological developments, and the practical applications of AI in the public service. Particular emphasis was placed on identifying opportunities to incorporate AI tools into routine administrative activities, thereby reducing the time spent on repetitive tasks and improving the quality of official work.

The training programme also provided opportunities for practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and knowledge-sharing on the effective use of AI technology in the workplace. Through these activities, officers were encouraged to explore innovative approaches to document preparation, information management, data analysis, and other administrative functions.

In addition, the programme highlighted the importance of using Artificial Intelligence responsibly, ethically, and securely within the public service. Officers were made aware of the need to protect confidential and sensitive information, verify AI-generated outputs, and exercise professional judgment when applying AI-assisted solutions in their official duties.

The programme served as another important step towards enhancing the digital competencies of Ministry officers and encouraging the adoption of innovative technological practices in public administration. It reinforced the importance of viewing Artificial Intelligence not as a replacement for human judgment, but as a supportive tool that can contribute to improved efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and service delivery.

Through the continuation of these training initiatives, the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs seeks to empower its officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to adapt to emerging technological developments and contribute to a more modern, responsive, and technology-driven public service.
