929 Child Helpline Service Awareness Sticker Campaign" program organised by the National Child Protection Authority on the 26th, marking the second day of the "Children's Day National Week" declared for World Children 's Day 2025.

Officials of the National Transport Commission inspected vehicles transporting school children, and transport service owners, drivers, and assistants were also aware. 

The Honorable Minister and the group also had the opportunity to exchange views with the school transport vehicle owners and drivers who participated in this event. These discussions will be instrumental in informing future steps taken to ensure the safety of children in transport.

The Chairperson of the National Child Protection Authority, Mrs. Preethi Inoka Ranasinghe, and her team, along with representatives from the National Transport Commission, Sri Lanka Police, and children from the National Child Protection Authority's University Student Ambassador Program, also participated in this event.

This program was implemented throughout the day, covering many school zones in the island.
